Dazzling Designs in Dublin for Spring Summer 2010

Monday the 15th of March 2010

The streets of Dublin City Centre sizzled as the leading city centre stores came together today, Monday 15th March, to unveil the city’s hottest Spring Summer collections.   Hemlines have crept up to shorter than short and eye popping colour in Pop Art inspired pieces combine for scorching summer styles as the models proved in the showcase of Dublin City Centre’s finest designs in Merrion Square.

Showing just how hot Dublin is in the style stakes were Arnotts, Brown Thomas, BT2, Clerys, Jervis Shopping Centre, Penneys and Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre which all showed designs.

With the inspiration of Ireland’s best dressed pounding the streets like a catwalk and 4,000 shops and 10 department stores and shopping centres to choose from, shopping for the latest trends is easy in Dublin City Centre. Dublin City Centre offers the best choice, atmosphere and value so there is no excuse for not finding that perfect piece!

The Spring Summer colour palette is going to be awash of sweet sorbet greens, pinks and blues featuring mostly light & bright summery colours which capture a young, up- beat feeling. The vast array of colours along with somewhat earthy tones give a huge amount to play with and as predicted the re-occurrence of the romantic trend and inspirations taken from the Pop Art of the sixties and seventies will leave the streets of Dublin saturated with colour.

While super short skirts, hot pants, boy shorts, and tap pants are all variations on the short-short style. Knee high and over the knee socks mean legs are certainly the focal point of spring summer.
